Free vs Pro: Lesson Pacing

The difference between free and GapFix Pro comes down to pacing: how many days of your plan you can open each week. Here's exactly how it works — including what happens to the days you don't open.

First, the trial

When you finish onboarding, a 7-day trial starts automatically — full access, no credit card, and no auto-charge. It's a timer, not a store subscription: when it ends, you simply continue on the free tier. Nothing is charged and nothing needs canceling.

Free tier: 1 lesson-day per plan week

On the free tier you can open 1 lesson-day per plan week. The first lesson you open that week claims it; the other days appear as locked skeletons with a countdown to the next unlock.

The crucial part: your plan sequence shifts forward — nothing is skipped and nothing is deleted. When you unlock your next lesson-day, it's the next day in your plan's sequence, not whatever the calendar says you missed. You'll cover all 84 days of your 12-week plan in order; it simply takes longer at one day a week.

What stays free — forever

The free tier is a real tier, not a nag screen:

Since a Booster or the Daily Practice counts as an active day, you can keep a streak alive all seven days a week on the free tier.

GapFix Pro: the full cadence

GapFix Pro unlocks unlimited lesson days — all 7 daily focuses every week, the pace your plan was designed around — plus unlimited Boosters, every lesson read aloud in a natural voice, the end-of-week Weekly Boss, and more than one plan at a time. It's available in Monthly, Quarterly, and Yearly cycles through the App Store, with the final price always shown there.

One thing XP will never do

XP buys streak protection and cosmetics — never lesson or Booster content. There's no grinding your way past the weekly unlock, and no buying XP with money. Content access is simple: trial, free, or Pro.
